SALES
Currently a 04-40 licensed Customer Representative issued by Florida Department of Financial Services. With this license, I can write and sell auto and homeowner products. During employment with State Farm, I had clearance to sell State Farm Banks products like checking and savings accounts, credit cards, CDs, etc.
COMMUNICATION
As a Benjamin A. Gilman scholarship alumni, I prepared a short video about my study abroad experience in Japan and shared it with students from the Japan Club at Florida International University as my followup service to the Gilman program. I also wanted to encourage the students to seek knowledge outside a typical classroom environment. I answered questions about the Japan program I attended and scholarship opportunities with the Gilman Scholarship program.
LEADERSHIP
I joined the Academy of Leaders program in August of 2016. Through this program, I was able to learn what it means to be a leader and what type of leader I can be to others. During the program, I worked alongside the other students and facilitated a learning experience to incoming high school students about the benefits and services that Florida International University offers. I graduated from this program in December 2016.
